Comentado Sun Jun 12, 2011 4:02PM | I've had about 200 new files into Thinkstock the last couple days. But I cannot get into photos.com. Keep getting an error message. Really glad to see them moving as I put in a lot of seasonal images. |
Comentado Sun Jun 12, 2011 4:22PM | I am delighted for you. Thank you for letting us know.
However nothing has moved for me and I have way less than 100 images to move over. |

Bummer on the error message, I had no problem getting in from here. Still no change to my numbers on either site. |

Ditto.
Nothing has moved for me either. Customer support told me to keep an eye on it...but nothing has happened since the 3rd of May at all. |
Comentado Tue Jun 14, 2011 12:09AM | I going to stop transferring eligable files to the PP until the system catches up,i still have over 100 not showing, but i dont think it ever will to be honest. We do not have enough control ie.I nominate a new batch and they will appear on the PP sites in 7/14/21 days ???.... |
Comentado Tue Jun 14, 2011 4:17AM | didn't the upate sticky say it may take up the 3 months for the backlog to be cleared? Hopefully that is accurate, and once it's cleared, it'll work.
We were also told they're working on making the connectors work better, so people are onto this and giving it some urgency.
I think the PP will improve over the coming months.. we just need to watch this space in the meantime, I guess. |
Comentado Tue Jun 14, 2011 6:02AM | Still no transfers for me. |
    Comentado Tue Jun 14, 2011 6:38PM | They are moving - be patient |
Comentado Tue Jun 14, 2011 7:21PM | But you are the only one who posted here with movement news.
Anyone else wish to post they had some OLD stuff move over. Misery loves company but I would like to hear from others who aren't miserable. |

Hi- Nice portfolio btw.
Do you mind sharing with us when you opted in the files you are seeing move over? |
Comentado Tue Jun 14, 2011 9:23PM | Mine from early May have shown up, in three batches- two files after about a week, then half the remainder about a week ago, and the rest in the last couple of days. I do have one duplicate file that has shown up twice! |

Susan- Thanks for posting this. It gives a reference point of how this process is going for some files opted-in, in May (I opted-in 70+/- files in early May also)
Before someone points this out to me: *Yes I did read in the sticky the order is unpredictable* |

must be unpredictable, cuz I have stuff from March 2010 that has not moved over |
Comentado Fri Jun 17, 2011 4:23AM | Is it worth the effort of unmarking them for PP and then marking them again to get them over quicker as I have over 100 files that are still stuck from when PP was initialised?
Thanks

I don't recommend it. At this point pretty much all of the failed images from the past year have been re-batched and are somewhere in the system. I actually can't tell you what will happen if you do that. It might make it go faster, or it might make them go to the very end of the line. |

would it be worth it at some point to disable contributors from sending files over to the PP and have a big "push" to get the files that "fell off" moved over. I have over a 1000 files waiting to show up on the PP sites, I sent them over last year and it seems like they will never get there

Comentado Fri Jun 17, 2011 1:25PM | I have had 4 move over to both thinkstock and photos. It is only 4 out of 400 but it is a start. |
Comentado Fri Jun 17, 2011 2:38PM | I've had some 47 moved across in the last few days. So things are indeed happening. |
Comentado Fri Jun 17, 2011 3:20PM | Some of my MIA files have begun to trickle over. Yay! |

Thanks for the response Asylumdown! Will wait it out some more to see if there is movement |
